I found two identical crashed freighters right next to each other.

This may be fairly common knowledge, but I only just recently learned it 100 hours in so I’ll bring it up. If you install tech upgrades for the same tool or feature next to each other in inventory, you get bonuses towards their effects. The most effici…

Announcing the Anomalous Acres Faecium Mine Need faecium? Of course you do! But why gather it in the field like some animal, or waste time building a farm? You don’t have time for that sh*t because you’ve got sh*t to do. Our faecium mine is full of sh*t and our sump pumps work 24×7 to make sure it stays that way. Over $1.9 million units worth, every 48 hours, this sh*t will make you rich. Note that there aren’t separate networks here: it’s just one big pile of sh*t. Located on a storm-free marsh planet in Calypso. Normal mode. WARNING: This planet has aggressive sentinels in normal mode (they take their sh*t seriously), so come in, collect your sh*t, and get out. The mine is high enough that this isn’t a problem as long as you don’t linger, but for people who just don’t want to take that sh*t there’s a save beacon and a comm ball at a nearby sentinel pillar (which is, itself, next to a trading post, so you can unload your sh*t as needed). submitted by /u/SkySchemer |

I just came back to the game after having not played for around three years. I read a thread on here about how when you encounter you first freighter fight, you can go to the space station, save, and then fly to the freighter and if it’s S class, you accept it, if not, you reload. So I proceeded with the plan, fully ready to spend the next few hours reloading until I got an S class… and then, yes, the very first freighter I landed on was this beauty. This is the appearance I wanted too. So kind of shitting myself right now lmao. submitted by /u/AbBrilliantTree |

I think that the one thing that no man’s sky is missing are ways to socialize. Now I know that there are civilized spaces and there’s the nexus, but people never talk there and it’s boring.
I think that the devs should add one (or a bunch) capital system to each galaxy with a planet with like huge cities or even ecumenopolis which people can buy houses, play in a casino race in pre-made giant tracks and do all sort of stuff together and on this planet will be a nexus of and just overall role-play.
The way you get to that system is either by portal or maybe a mission or you can just go there through the nexus.
Important note! It has to be a super unique system so between 1-3 systems per galaxy so players would actually meet each other.
What say you people?

Is there any way I can trigger settlement development to get more people? I stopped getting construction opportunities so I’m afraid I hit my limit for buildings or something before being able to build more residences. I’m glad the gang is happy and wants to throw parties all the time, but I want more friends 😔 submitted by /u/kawabunga666 |

I see it has slots for Sulphurine, Radon and Nitrogen. However it only extracts Chromatic Metal. How do I collect the gases? submitted by /u/Odd-Independence-618 [link] [comments]

Didn’t realise until now, about 50 hours in, that the first world I landed on is rarity. Nice weather, no predators, low sentinel in a quiet system. Time to retire before I’ve even started the game really

Stupid question: If I stumble across someone’s base and take their runaway mould, if they were to show up 5 minutes later, can they still harvest what should be there, or have I forced them to wait for it to respawn?
I ask because while checking out someone’s base I saw that they had a healthy collection of mould balls, but I don’t want to take what’s theirs if that means they get screwed.
Thanks.

Hello fellas, I’m a returning player (from before pirate systems) and I’m a bit lost about what type of ship has the best stats, when I played the exotic ships were the best by far, but now I see living ships, solar(?) ships, sentinel ships, exotic ships and the usual regular ships (I’m not sure if there are more types).
