You know what'd be cool? Jungle planets.

Yes, I know there are foresty and overgrown planets, but they don’t quite give me enough satisfaction. I want amazing, South America style areas that I can be hunted in. I want canopies of vines making it impossible to see the sky. I want guerrilla camps full of vy’keen warriors armed to the teeth. I know it would be extremely laggy but if anyone can make it work, it’d be Hello Games.

Thank you for reading

As a PS4 player...

…it seems to me (as a technology layman) that in game stability has gotten WAY BETTER with the last update. I can actually walk around my planet side bases and colonies now without the game dropping down to 10 frames a second or being in constant fear of crashing. I also don’t have as many instances of placed objects disappearing.

Things are still a bit jittery on my frigate, but, once again, still way better than it has been.

Good job HG! It’s nice that, along with the constant updates, they’re still trying to give some focus to improving and maintaining playability on last gen systems!

I don’t suppose they could pass some of that hard work and dedication on to CDPR can they? It would be really nice if I could play the Phantom Liberty DLC on the copy of Cyberpunk 2077 that I invested in at launch instead of having to pay $400+ for a new system because they didn’t want to attempt to do what Hello Games is proving can be done.

Do you get lost in space stations?

So, I was curious as to why all the space station interiors are pretty much the same even with the update adding what Hello Games described as being “vastly different from station to station”.

The answer that seemed most prominent is that people get lost and frustrated inside space stations. So Hello Games makes it the same so people don’t get lost.

Do you find it hard to navigate space stations to the point where they have to be laid out roughly the same exact way? Or are you able to pretty much get your bearings in a game in a few minutes of exploring?

Coming from games like WoW where capital cities provide similar services with vastly different architecture and layout, I just find it hard to believe that a game full of explorers can’t navigate the tiny space station without getting frustratingly lost or turned around.
