This might be a bit controversial, but as a day one player, it is absolutely not fair getting all these amazing updates, watching the community grow, come together and enjoy the beauty of a nearly infinite universe
WITHOUT A GODDAMN CAPE.
This is a massive injustice to the community and borderline spiteful. It isn’t fair that Nada gets to flaunt what is apparently the only cape in the entire universe while I gaze upon it longingly.

What If Hello Games Added Gas Giants To No Man's Sky?

My idea for a Gas Giant; one could spawn per system (with like a 40% chance of spawning in a system) and it could harbor 2-3 moons. But what would make this interesting is the moons that it could harbor would be more unique and far larger than the moons currently in the game, basically planets trapped in this giant’s orbit. Now you’re probably thinking how the gas giant would actually work since its, you know, made of gas. My idea is when you drive your ahip inside the gas giant, its a huge storm that decreses visability and can damage your ship if you’re not careful. But the plus side to this massive risk is you can find rare recourses in bulk, enticing players to actively take that risk. Idk, just somwthink ive been thinking about 😄 submitted by /u/SkitsKing |

Will we ever be able to cultivate foodstuff plants?
It always bothered me somewhat that we have these plants we can cultivate for the purpose of building or crafting further items (or making loads of money on the market in the case of NipNip buds), but the plants you want to gather from for ingredients remain wild and untamed.
It’d be nice to be able to set up a farm base proper or have a microfarm on a freighter for your heptaloid wheats or impulse beans…

Let me map planets
I wish the planets had an actual map in the discovery screen, where you could see each waypoint discovered and spin the globe. I feel like it would very simply add a lot of depth to a shallow experience So many things they could flesh out in this game…
