Time to take a very long break.
I play Permadeath almost exclusively, aside from expeditions. I know the risk you take, and I've lost several toons doing stupid things (got hit by lightning in my previous game because I was greedy.)
But this time, I had 128 hours into my character, and died because of a glitch while landing on my freighter. My ship suddenly popped into the interior or the freighter, and just bounced itself around until it was destroyed, and all my work with it. There was not a thing I could do to stop it.
I don't mind dying from my own stupidity, but this put me over the edge. (And yes, I know how to cheat and keep a backup, but what's the point of doing PD if you can game the system?)
I'm sure I'll be down voted, because nobody likes a GBCW rant, but so be it. I needed to get this off my chest. Have fun, folks.
