I don't relay like the ship building system.
Actually I do. it is an excellent addition to the game.
What I don’t like is the placement of parts in your inventory.
It should’ve been a separate inventory or menu list like with pets or separate placeable box.
You travel around find interesting ships, scrap and fill your list with learned plans and maybe make some.
Like this is just junk clogging your already clogged inventory.

Trashy Treehouse III – A Christmas Miracle. Dump-Star II log. DAY 36::/ I think the new holiday house is all set for the Christmas party. I had to let Bumbum go since he couldn’t complete the order of my Cybertruck due to lack of funding, he also claimed it was my own fault because I pay the crew in various berries and napkins from intergalactic diners. What a nerve… Anyway.. The party is still on, noone will even notice him gone. I decided to build my own Cybertruck since Bumbum let me down. And I gotta say… Elan Musket got nothing on Kpt. Kolort. 43″ kicks, fully functional bytebeat stereo (top tier mono output) Effective and stylish front AND rear lights And a renovating topfuel system. Merry xmas to me hah! This game NEEDS new ships but...
It shouldn’t just be another blanket part addition. Give us new ship types for each race and bring in new parts and combinations for each race. It would add a lot to the game lore and build up the uniqueness of each race.
While you’re at it. Please add another 3 slots to my spaceship minimum count 🙂

I am absolutely blown away by how good this runs on Switch
I’ve got about 2000 hours between Xbox and PC. I bought the Switch version on launch and it was so-so. I mean I didn’t really expect MUCH in the way of performance.
Must have been one of the recent updates, but holy HELL how did the developers do this!? Between game engine optimization and the raw talent of the HG team, I am beside myself.
I don’t want to reach too deep into my pocket full of dreams but I hope Light No Fire comes to Switch as well. I was literally about to sell my OLED last week until I fired up NMS again.
