If you look at the names of some characters in nms they are named after Greek & Roman gods/goddesses. Example:

Tethys: Tethys is the goddess of freshwater and nursing mothers. Also the name of a moon of Saturn.

Apollo: The god of archery, music and dance, truth and prophecy, healing and diseases, the sun and light, poetry, and more.

Mercury: the Roman god of commerce, often serving as a mediator between the gods and mortals.

Ares: The ancient Greek god of war or, more properly, the spirit of battle. He represented the distasteful aspects of brutal warfare and slaughter.

Ariadne: She was a Cretan princess and the daughter of King Minos of Crete.

Cronus: A Titan and the youngest son of Uranus (Heaven/Sky) and Gaia (Earth).

Eos: Represented as a young woman, usually winged, either walking fast with a youth in her arms or rising from the sea in a chariot drawn by winged horses, Eos has the power to bring the dawn or the morning sky to the ancient Greeks.

Gemini: According to one version of the myth, Castor and Pollux were made into the constellation Gemini by the god Zeus to honor the brothers’ love.

Helios: The sun god, sometimes called a Titan. Helios is often depicted in art with a radiant crown and driving a horse-drawn chariot through the sky. He was a guardian of oaths and also the god of sight.

Hesperus: The Evening Star, the planet Venus in the evening. A son of the dawn goddess Eos (Roman Aurora), he is the half-brother of her other son, Phosphorus (also called Eosphorus; the “Morning Star”).

Hyperion: The Titan god of watchfulness and heavenly light. He was the father of Eos (Dawn), Helios (Sun), and Selene (Moon), as well as the brother of Cronus, king of the Titans, and the husband of Theia, Titan goddess of the sky.

Perses: The Titan god of destruction. He was the father of Hekate, goddess of witchcraft, by the Titanis Asteria (“Starry One”).

Selene: In Greek and Roman religion, the personification of the moon as a goddess. She was worshipped at the new and full moons.

Artemis: The goddess of chastity, hunting, and the moon, often depicted with her trusty bow and arrow and a short tunic to aid in running through the woods. Her maidenly virtue—for she swore never to marry—was presented in counterpoint to the passionate and fiery Aphrodite.

There's a little secret about ship scrapping

There's a little secret about ship scrapping

This is probably going to be old news to some but I discovered a couple things while I was scrapping that might be helpful

So – what I was doing – Hanging out at a BOOMING economy space station. I like to do this cuz the quality of ships is higher (more A and S classes and an exotic now and then). Scrapping A classes gives you about 600-900 nanites if you sell the upgrades to the NPC’s. You lose money on scrapping overall but I’ve got money to burn so no big. When you scrap it kicks out random useless junk you have to sell but also some minerals that are useful.

Ok, so what’s the secret? Well – while you’re doing this, buy and sell from the pilots. Buy what? well I buy all their minerals but once in a while they’ll pop in with Di-Hydrogen Jelly. ALOT of it! 650 isn’t unusual. 10 Jelly = 500 Di-Hydrogen if you refine it. That’s 6500 Di-Hydrogen with a click! In an hour I only found one pilot with it but plenty with Tritium and bought all of that and most of anything else they had. Ended up with 10,000+ of almost every mineral you can think of and enough Fuel to last a week for all the Frigate missions and thousands of nanites and a new exotic!

My new Exotic!
