I stumbled on a faster way to scrap ships!

Up until now I’ve been teleporting back and forth between my freighter and the station to scrap ships for money and nanites but the game I’m currently playing is fresh so I don’t have freighter and started using the Anomaly.

At first it didn’t seem faster at all because I was still using the teleporter but then I realized I can’t teleport back to the Anomoly from the station which made me summon it again instead of pulsing back to where it was.

The thing is, you can summon the Anomaly directly outside the station. As you’re exiting the station, don’t hold any buttons for your boosters and before you’re even out of the blue light you can summon the Anomoly.

You might be thinking, “why is this faster?” Well, because when you summon the broken ship on the Anomoly, it does the same thing the station does and fixes the pulse and launch so you can just immediately take off again and right back to the station 👍. No teleporting necessary.

As a bonus there’s also no chance of the teleporter or your freighter causing the game to crash 🤗

I Shouldn't Have Done That

I’m a 36 year old man, and tonight this game made me yelp in genuine terror. So first a little backstory. I’ve only been playing for about a month now, and tonight I discovered my first planet with water on it. Now, since none of you know me, I have a very real, and very extreme fear of being submerged in water, and ashamedly, this carries over into video games as well. Despite my fear of water I decided to jump into this deep lake I discovered on said planet to see what was in it because up until this point I’ve yet to come across any hostile animals besides the ones that show up when you steal a whispering egg.

So as I’m swimming around scanning all the plants and animals, I see an icon that says “Alluring Specimen” so naturally I had to go and investigate. This, was a bad idea. I swim over to where the waypoint is and I see an option to collect an item, so without thinking, I grab it. If swimming over here was a bad idea, taking that object was a far worse idea, because suddenly I see “biological horror detected”. From out of this giant plant looking thing emerges what I can only describe as a very pissed off anglerfish looking thing swimming right for me. I fucking freaked out! I yelped out of sheer terror, my heart started racing, and let me tell you, my jetpack could not get me the fuck out of that water fast enough. I got back in my ship, and I left that planet behind, because FUCK THAT! I did come out though with something called a Hadal Core, whatever that is.

Ship is excruciatingly slow

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve played. I loaded up my main save to check things out. I had to mess with the technology modules because I stopped playing shortly before they changed it. I set it all up and now my ship is painfully slow. Even just flying away from my frigate so I can use the pulse drive takes forever. Are there new upgrades that speed up your ship or something?

I've only hopped galaxies once. Does one to recollect glyphs?

A few years ago I finished a few of the storylines (I’m pretty sure that Atlas and I came to an agreement) and I ended up with all 16 glyphs then. I travelled to the 2nd galaxy, found my ship, then logged off. Haven’t been back to that save since. If I logged in would I have to get 16 new glyphs? Like, I think the symbols are all the same but would I have to collect them again?
