Love Letter to the Community

I’ve played NMS for a long time now and in the past 2 years I’ve frequented the discord server and subreddit. Now I don’t play that much but every time I pop on the sub I see awesome new bases, unique ships and creatures and teasers for the next update. Y’all keep bringing me back to this game and I keep making awesome memories playing it. Thank you all for being one of the coolest and friendliest group of gamers out there. I’m yet to meet a community so welcoming of newcomers and void of hate. As I come up on 200 hours on my current play through I looked back at some of the bases I’ve built with random people from this sub and how I’ve made friends I never would’ve met otherwise so to keep it short you are all amazing and keep up the positivity!

Hey so I’ve only been playing this game for maybe 3 or 4 hours. I had called for the space anomaly, and when I got inside I was just walking around looking at the different spaceships and all of a sudden a message popped up and said I had received: 5 Starship AI Valves 5 Memory Fragments 3 void eggs. My question is where did this come from and what do I do with it?

I think there's something I don't understand with the nautilon

So I’m doing the dreams of the depths quest, I built the nautilon and added the scanner thingy, and now I’m supposed to use it to find a sunken freighter

The games tells me to use the quick menu to activate the scanner

But there is no quick menu? Or at least I can’t access it?

What am I supposed to do then? Swim across the whole planet untill the regular scanner finds something?
