No Man’s Sky on Xbox One S

No Man's Sky on Xbox One S

Usually the only issues I have are terrible frame rate and loading times but this planet takes the cake. Didn't start doing this until I was on my second wave of sentinels. It took 25 minutes to do this mission and it only got worse with the storm.

Falling in love all over again...

For Reference: I pre-ordered No Man’s Sky when it was first announced specifically because they said it would support VR. I played it on the PS VR first generation and had a great time.

Flash Forward to today. I’ve had the PS VR2 for a couple of weeks, but no time to play it. This morning I fired up NMS and the VR2. If I didn’t need to stop to go to the bathroom I would still be there. I’m falling in love with VR and NMS all over again. The graphical upgrade, the haptics in the controllers and the headset, did I mention the graphics. The 3D audio with the Sony Headset is perfect, fits comfortably and sounds phenomenal.

All in All, I’m ecstatic! BRAVO!

Please let Light No Fire have VR support. I’m ready!

P.S. I love this so much, I posted it in the PSVR2 and Light No Fire subreddits as well.

Wow this game wow

I been debating buying No man’s sky for awhile. Just never thought I would enjoy it. I mostly play rpgs and rts games. Good god is this game gorgeous and deep. Can say I am addicted now. Don’t play online or really look at guides (only for a few things). I randomly found a settlement on my paradise planet (I found by compete accident lol)..I was like wtf is this they have this in the game too. Anyways this game is great can’t wait for the update.

Overwhelming steep learning curve for new players

Another Starfield refugee here finally taking the plunge into No Man’s Sky.

I made it to the first space station. I’m loving the exploration and customized difficulty settings but I’m feeling overwhelmed with all the tutorials, knowledge stones, ship fuel, outposts and resources.

What are the most useful materials I should buy?

What’s the deal with the Discoveries tab? It’s just uploading scans for Nanites?

Any advice on the best early game upgrades?

Flight controls feel pretty weird on Xbox controller. I felt like I was going to crash into the space station lol. Is there a sweet spot for sensitivity settings?

Any advice or new player tips is appreciated.
