What colour is my living ship? Colourblind help! 😬

What colour is my living ship? Colourblind help! 😬

I'm a bit colourblind. Most ships are pretty obvious colours but I've seen so many living ships posted with multiple colours attributed. Metals, tints, underskins… only a few of which I'd confidently say "oh yes, that's a red(or whatever) living ship".

I like my ship, but I'm just curious. So please would some kind people let me know what colour my living ship is? I've tried to post pics in various lighting conditions.

Many thanks! 😊

Amazing how the VR version of the game can make you feel

Just wanted to share this because I think many folks here would appreciate it.

I have NMS on PSVR1 and still prefer to play it this way, despite the blurriness (although the latest update appears to have improved it a lot, even on my headset). And I saw a post here about how it’s the experience of being there that makes all the difference, compared to flat screen, which I agree with.

The day after the recent update dropped, I tried the game again because I hadn’t played in a while and I saw in the release notes that there were graphical updates “for all VR platforms”. I thought there was an immediate difference, IMO, and it all looked much better compared to how I remembered it (this is the PS4 version), but then…

There came a point where I got the “incoming storm” message, so I jumped into my ship. I must have spent 5 minutes just chilling, waiting for the storm to end, and watching the toxic rainfall through the windows. But the thing is, I felt cosy and warm, just as if I was sitting at home on a rainy day!

I had to tell my wife about it, because I’ve never had a game evoke that kind of feeling before (and I’ve been gaming for over 40 years).

Has anyone else experienced that effect in NMS, and/or VR games, in general?
