What is the point of terrain manipulation if the terrain inevitably regenerates?

I honestly can't find any use for it beyond digging up buried tech & artifacts.

I used to level areas to build bases, but of course the terrain would regenerate at some point and I'd have dirt & rocks covering the floor. All of my buildings are now built on struts above ground level.

You have a literal level setting on your manipulator to flatten the terrain, but the terrain regen just negates it completely. What gives?

I’ve seen these ships all around the anomaly but I have no idea what they are. I know about living, sentinel etc.. But what are the ships in the first few images even called ?

Just me arriving at my first \”main base\” (I didn’t really get into base building until late game)

When you guys are away in the anomaly doing your space business I take pictures of your ships!

Last time flying with my A class ship which I think looks better than the S class ships I got after 🙁

First S class really didn’t like it but it had stats.

Really cool sentinel I have the worst luck with these ships the ones I found were all pickup truck shaped.

Credits Cap Ideas

Are there any new worthwhile ways to get the max credits back down by purchasing items? I’m finally at the cap and find that not being able to sell items is a downer.

I’ve thought of buying ships to scrap but that seems wasteful. I could imagine it as a business loss in game though.

I wish we could donate items to some kind of product slot machine or massive project. I stopped selling my lucrative items a long while ago to postpone this issue.
