I'll admit to not properly understanding how the single player/multi-player/world generation works so apologies if this is a daft question….

I've stumbled on a system with a nice array of interesting ships. Whilst I was hanging around at the trading post to see what sort of exotic turned up I took pictures for the glyphs. As I understand it people can portal to this address and find these types of ship if they want.

Then the exotic turned up (in the space station as I was passing through) and it's a squid. So naturally I bought it.

So here's my silly question – as I've bought it can anyone go to the system and find one for themselves? If they turn off multi-player?

Pictures below – the glyphs on the squid correspond to the other planet in the system (there's only two) where also you can find the chonky parrot boy in the last picture.

This system keeps on giving!

I need someone to come kill me

So… I’m stuck in the floor.

I was doing some base building on my freighter. I had a hallway that turned left, and I was standing in the corner of the left turn. I went to delete the hallway and in doing so, also deleted the corner I was in. I fell beneath the floor.

I’m still standing, though. So I can move around albeit within the space of one hallway. I’ve tried almost everything to get out. There are no gaps to jump or fall through, building a short-range teleporter doesn’t work, saving and reloading is no good. I’m completely stumped. My last hope is that someone can try to come kill me.

I’ll post screenshots of my coordinates in the comments.

Credits Cap Ideas

Are there any new worthwhile ways to get the max credits back down by purchasing items? I’m finally at the cap and find that not being able to sell items is a downer.

I’ve thought of buying ships to scrap but that seems wasteful. I could imagine it as a business loss in game though.

I wish we could donate items to some kind of product slot machine or massive project. I stopped selling my lucrative items a long while ago to postpone this issue.

What Do I Do? (Etiquette Help Please)

I just started the game two days ago. No clue what I’m doing. I just made it to the place you can go to tp to community highlights. Anyway, so I’m in what appears to be to me as some actual other person’s star system (a community highlight base, it’s very nice!). Dude discovered it like 2 years ago per the discovery tab. Anyway, I’m exploring his digs, land at what I thought was another of his/her/their bases and the game starts telling me about a distress signal at what seems to be some sort of village and I’m needing to respond/react. Am I messing up this person’s system? How do I back out? I don’t want to trash one of his 5 planets with my noobie chaos….
