I have 5 or more S-class fighter frigates. I have a squadron of a couple A-class squadron fighters. (Currently trying to develop them) Yet when I get attacked by bandits my team just sorta buzzes around. They aren’t very useful. Sure they look like th…

Can anyone explain this? I love space, i love NMS and I feel like im being melodramatic but its the reason i can’t play it in VR. Regular NMS (or any space game) is just about doable if i side-eye the screen a lot.
When i stop to look at a planet, i have this visceral feeling of fear and unease, seeing something that big in front of me. Or if i look up while on a planet and see another planet taking up my view, my legs go wobbly. If im using warp and see a planet slowly approaching, then whiz past me, same thing. Its like knowing that theres a huge distance between me and the planet(but having no visual cues like we have on the ground), is doing something to my ape brain that it doesn’t appriciate.
Strange feeling.

Whenever I go to pirate systems to make some good money, I always attack the randomly spawning freighter crews as anyone would, but unlike the randomly spawning freighters in regulated systems, they don’t have visible health bars(though they seem to ge…

I just found out that you can pick any slot you want to when unlocking slots for your exosuit. The game auto selects a slot for you, but you can choose your own. This includes increasing the slots you can put technology into. Not just the standard inv…

I’ve spent many years making the stuff on my homesteads. I always kind of like to think of it like I’m making a fine wine from my vineyard. It’d certainly fill a gap in the big gap of potential consumables in the game since it doesn’t seem like we’ll ever get sandwiches, burgers, or beer… Hell pizza should be in the game. Anyway, wanted to see other traveller’s views of the drink in their playthroughs.

I saw this pic randomly, can anyone explain what are all those freighter upgrades? The only thing I have on my freighter are hyperdrive upgrades, interstellar scanner and matter beam.. Cannot see any other blueprints anywhere. Or are these only e…

Are there any new worthwhile ways to get the max credits back down by purchasing items? I’m finally at the cap and find that not being able to sell items is a downer. I’ve thought of buying ships to scrap but that seems wasteful. I could imagine it as a business loss in game though. I wish we could donate items to some kind of product slot machine or massive project. I stopped selling my lucrative items a long while ago to postpone this issue. submitted by /u/Randaximus |

I was inspired by the Cyber City post, so I took a jab at my own. There’s still a lot I need to flesh out and furnish, but I think this is a pretty good start for 2 days work submitted by /u/Aurbical |
