PSA: how to transfer ships and MTs from main save to expedition

Once you reach the Anomaly in the expedition, you can go to the expedition terminal and copy your most recently active ship and active multitool from your main save. If you want to copy a different ship or MT, switch back to your main save, call in the ship or activate the multitool you want, and then switch back to the expedition. You will then be able to copy that ship or multitool to your expedition save, at the cost of 1000–2000 nanites.

You can also copy multiple ships or multitools from main save to expedition this way. Copy the ship/MT to expedition, switch to main save, change the active ship/MT, switch back to expedition, and copy that one over too. I copied both my scanning MT and my battle MT this way.

When you transfer a ship, all of the installed tech comes with it, but none of the inventory.

I know I'm likely in the minority, but I want... More prefab rooms and structures like the circular ...

I Just… prefer the Uniformity of design, I like the built in windows, I like not having to glitch hack doors, I like the idea of being able to snap to obvious grid points in those prefabs.

I want more of it, I want doors that actually work without having to wire them to hell and back, and for god sake, I’d kill for a dedicated room/bay with a garage style doors, and/or hanger doors so I can literally Land my ship and park my vehicles in doors, with four enclosed walls and never have to step out into a hostile environment if I so choose.

That’s my latest NMS wish-list.

Has anyone figured out space stations for ship building?

So is there any rhyme or reason to the space stations, or is everyone just hopping from station to station, looking for the right number of Supercharged slots?

I know some people are posting glyphs, but I’m wondering if anyone has figured out any kind of pattern.

Also, FWIW, the refiner exploit works for ship parts… 😜

It IS kind of fun to hunt for parts, though.
