No Man’s Sky needs a way to display our ships in bases. Permanently.

Since there is now a 12 slot ship collection available in NMS, I thought it would be very nice to be able to show our ships in our bases, as buildable objects and so on.

One way I could see that being done is through the existing wonders projector, essentially allowing us to register a ship as a "Wonder" and have it placed and resized like wonder projectors can right now with planets, creatures etc.

Another, (and way cooler IMO) would be to allow players to build non-interactable ships in their bases (Possibly with the ability to resize them to fit on a shelf akin to a 1:500 model like we have irl).

Updoot so Sean Sees this pls, I really want to display my ship collection at my base 😀

I am absolutely blown away by how good this runs on Switch

I’ve got about 2000 hours between Xbox and PC. I bought the Switch version on launch and it was so-so. I mean I didn’t really expect MUCH in the way of performance.

Must have been one of the recent updates, but holy HELL how did the developers do this!? Between game engine optimization and the raw talent of the HG team, I am beside myself.

I don’t want to reach too deep into my pocket full of dreams but I hope Light No Fire comes to Switch as well. I was literally about to sell my OLED last week until I fired up NMS again.
