So many hours in, and the game still makes me go "oh for fucks sake"
Never once did I think to scan ships as they came in. I've been going up and talking to the pilots like a nincompoop. submitted by /u/footsteps71 |

It is both a detriment to some and what makes the game so great to others. The fact there’s so many features and different aspects and things to do. The fact even the littlest things are paid attention to and seemingly no matter how much you play there’s always some new little trick or tip to learn. I mean even things like adjacency having an impact on boosts, or how certain classes of ships (like explorer / sentinel / fighter) have better stats and same for multi tools.
For some, being so spread out is a negative because they don’t get to focus on one thing and flesh it out. But to others it’s a game where you can keep finding new things even if small mechanics like that. And I love it. And I can see with continuous updates how far it can keep going

It has gotten wayyyy better since I last saw gameplay. I have been obsessed since I first opened it lol. Stumbled on an S rank starship pretty early on and that enabled me to progress pretty quickly. Currently taking lots of detours to find weird anomalies (btw, do those planets only appear in indium systems?). Should I prioritize the main questlin? Like, does finishing it give me good things, or can I just meander through the galaxy without missing better opportunities? Here’s a brief tour of my underwater base, Gayptim (it was an rng name i swear). I adore underwater bases in games, and I think No Man’s Sky does it verrryyy well submitted by /u/Catyre |

I’m trying to target one species to damage my reputation with so I can continue to receive benefits from the others. When intercepting traders in outlaw bounties, they are in the same system as the outlaw station so it’s easy to tell which species is g…

Question says it all. Old stuff said 3.9k, but that was when you could use 6 mods? I’m up to 2.9k, but trying to figure out much more to push.

I’m building a base on my freighter and I seen someone on a video use an L-shaped glass corridor and also had a T-shaped glass junction, was wondering how I get them or do they even exist, TIA

So I know there is the base building items you obtain in the anomaly and the ones through the quicksilver shop but I just found out about the items in pirate stations you can buy for tainted metal..i knew there were items to buy but not base building items… my question is.. are there any off the beaten path vendors or stations or trade terminals that have rare base parts? I’d like to collect everything I can for my building 👷♂️. Thanks traveler’s!
