(Might include some tiny spoilers for those who haven’t played the storyline yet)

… what are the travelers really?

We are no Gek, Korvax or Vyr’ken, we can change shape almost freely.

We are almost immortal when exposed to space but get terribly hurt by falling on the surface of water.

We talk to the big entity like it’s nothing but are hunted by its workers.

We return into existence after death.

My best guess: we are either a selfdefence mechanism of Atlas, fighting a reoccurring errors in its system, like… the density of water.

Or we actually are an extra space intelligence aside from the big three. Why else would we get hurt by water but not by falling through space? A good spacesuit would withstand both.

I was Just wondering what do you guys think No Mans Sky could improve on moving forward, I personally think it could improve on the Ship aspect by maybe introducing Ship Building , for we spend a lot of our time in our space ships and there isn’t that much diversity of them ?

I’ve played this game on and off for years, have great A and and S grade upgrades and yet my bird gets taken down in seconds. It doesn’t help that the new AI apparently maneuvers unrealistically well and has regenerating shields. Used to take them forever to blow through my shield, I got warped into a fight through a black hole and didn’t even have time to react much. First death ever on this save.

Am I doing something wrong? Are there new upgrades I don’t know about?
