With a Bazillion types of procedurally generated Starships available – from all the different types of Haulers, Fighters, Explorers, Shuttles,… to the different types of Exotics, such as Squids, Mosquitos, etc,… to the Living Ships, to the Custom Ships, such as the Golden Vector, etc, being limited to just 6 seems very underwhelming, and can be frustrating. 6 seems disproportionally low, especially compared to the maximum 30 Frigates for example. Really, I keep just 5 Starships so I can have an open slot for flipping crashed ships, etc.
As a Day 1 Player with 2,365.2 Hours Play Time at the time of this writing, I can say one of my favorite things to do is to hunt for that perfect Starship, to build a specific fleet with a theme. This is one of the top things that adds to NMS’ replay value for me personally.
I would think increasing the number from 6 to 9, at the very least, would be very feasible, since there are already 9 Landing Pads on Freighters. Or maybe the number of Landing Pads could be increased to facilitate even more than 9 Starships?
Appreciate you taking the time and for the consideration. NMS is truly my Desert Isle game. I cannot express enough the gratitude I (and so many of us) feel towards all of you at HG for your continued development of the game, not to mention all the free updates! A TRUE Labour-of-Love! THANK YOU!

So I started Playing NMS genuinely for the first time and I was in a space station and two of these dumb looking ships landed simultaneously I bought them cuz I wanted to be like “Hahaha Squid ship.” To my friend who plays the game with me turns out these are super rare? I didn’t have coordinates or anything as I still don’t even have portals I just started watching YouTube vids on the game for the first time ever and everyone is saying “People hunt for hundreds of hours looking for it and most don’t ever find it.” I just wanted to know are these really rare I can prove I don’t have portals if possible, I’ve attached my current missions to show I haven’t gotten to far into the game I have like 50 or so hours in the game on my steam is says 157 but I left the game on after falling asleep assuming that was the only way for my O2 farm to work if I was online submitted by /u/TheDoc7181 |

A perfect world… at the edge of the galaxy… over 1,000,000 LY from galactic core… high sentinel activity but not aggressive activity, 3-star system, blue skies, and the RAIN IS NORMAL… I’m almost crying… over 150 hours of being a nomad, building …

I have developed the habit of constantly building bases on any planet that interests me, even a little bit. I almost never return to most of them, except to avoid lengthy travel or to harvest a resource when I can’t find enough in trade. I think I have twenty-five or more bases now. Should I delete them and try to just keep one base? How many bases do you have and/or use regularly? Edit: autocorrect
