The antimatter harvesting unit was the last thing I unlocked at the construction research terminal, because it’s the least useful unlock imo. Antimatter is easy to make once you’re past the early game, it’s made with materials that can be automatically harvested so there’s no shortage of supply.
Tritium and di-hydrogen however, which never stop being in demand, can’t be automatically harvested. You can do without tritium since Uranium can charge the pulse engine instead (and that one can be automatically harvested), but you can’t really do without di-hydrogen. Even though you stop needing it in the mid-late game for your launch thrusters after you get the upgrades for it, you never stop needing it for frigate fuel. Since tritium refines into di-hydrogen though it could serve the purpose just as well.
It’s odd imo that one of the most important resources for the late game has no way of being automatically harvested, I really hope HG hears this idea at some point and implements it or something similar to solve this problem. I’m getting a little tired of constantly mining di-hydrogen crystals lol
