I *highly* recommend Hello Games' other game, The Last Campfire

I hope this post doesn’t get deleted as it’s not directly about No Man’s Sky but still about Hello Games.

Its a 3D platformer/puzzle game and the game is an absolute masterpiece. It’s incredibly polished and refined, graphically and visually stunning, and emotionally moving with a beautiful message at the end. You’re definitely missing out on something special if you haven’t played it.

It’s also a great way to support Hello Games for all the free updates we have gotten with No Man’s Sky and it’s only $20.

I have to admit I am kind of amazed at some of the reaction to the 4.0 update especially from those ...

I get why some players may not care for some of the changes, but honestly, I’m not even sure why are even that upset in the first place since we all know that hello game will quickly start making changes to 4.0 based on player feedback just like they have done with every single major update they have released.

Heck, they even brought back the ramps for the freighters when players complained about it being removed from the endurance update and I have no doubt that in the coming days that will also make changes to Waypoint just as they have done with every other update that has come before it

Look on the bright side, at least people can still actually play the game because I remember when the beyond update came out and the game literally started crashing every time I would try to play it. I was not able to play the game for days, so thankfully at least for me WAYPOINT is not having those kinds of Major issues so far

Have planetary coordinates shifted or changed at all since NEXT?

The universe hasn’t been fully regenerated since NEXT came out, but I wouldn’t be surprised if some things have moved around. Would the planetary coords of a feature or structure have changed since 2018 even if its position hasn’t?

Yes, I know how coordinates work. I’m just wondering if the way they’re implemented in game has changed at all in the past 6 years.

'Benefits' of one-star systems.

The crashed ships seem to be consistently lower class. Still some A-class shuttles.

Smaller amounts of materials to purchase from NPCs, prices may be lower (but not wiring looms).

There seem to be double the number of autophages at the usual sites (crashed freighters, drop pods, ejected autophage sites, waypoint beacons, and the debris ‘robot’ without an NPC nearby).

Across a half-dozen systems, no planets with aggressive sentinels… so far.

580,000 ly to go, or until I get tired of this “plan”. Galaxy 71…
