Day 1 – Unknown distance from the center of the galaxy Woke up on a frozen planet. Don’t exactly remember how I crashed. I remember jumping into the system. Everything after that is gone. Not everything. The compulsion is still there. Or is it an obses…

I hope this post doesn’t get deleted as it’s not directly about No Man’s Sky but still about Hello Games.
Its a 3D platformer/puzzle game and the game is an absolute masterpiece. It’s incredibly polished and refined, graphically and visually stunning, and emotionally moving with a beautiful message at the end. You’re definitely missing out on something special if you haven’t played it.
It’s also a great way to support Hello Games for all the free updates we have gotten with No Man’s Sky and it’s only $20.

Well, I finally went and did it. I’m among the 0.7% of NMS players on Steam who journeyed to the center of Euclid in Permadeath mode.
Since I did all of last year’s Expeditions when they came out, I decided to make my own expedition-like experience – earning the “To Live Forever” achievement. The first hour or so was worrying. There were some close calls here and there. But my main impression of the Permadeath mode was annoyance:
My chosen method was to go up the main story/quest line. It’s been a long time and the changes Hello Games made to it since the days of yore were interesting to see. I also took the opportunity to make some different choices this time around. It turns out that everybody is remarkably chill with letting Artemis die.
In the end, I reset the simulation and I found myself on an extreme radioactive planet in another galaxy with a bunch of broken gear. I struggled for a moment, but since I was planning on deleting my Permadeath save anyway, I calmly waited and let it self-wipe.
Going back to my legacy save and seeing the vast expanses of inventory space was like booting up a whole different game.

I’ve seen this pet a couple times in the Anomaly, but I don’t know where it comes from. Anyone know? Thanks! submitted by /u/Hixman |

Stupid question: If I stumble across someone’s base and take their runaway mould, if they were to show up 5 minutes later, can they still harvest what should be there, or have I forced them to wait for it to respawn?
I ask because while checking out someone’s base I saw that they had a healthy collection of mould balls, but I don’t want to take what’s theirs if that means they get screwed.
Thanks.

Hello fellas, I’m a returning player (from before pirate systems) and I’m a bit lost about what type of ship has the best stats, when I played the exotic ships were the best by far, but now I see living ships, solar(?) ships, sentinel ships, exotic ships and the usual regular ships (I’m not sure if there are more types).
