So I thought I read that screenshots has the planet coordinates in them. I don’t have the portals unlocked on this playthru yet, but this trading post is amazing! I was fishing it a little today, only buying shops if they were S+Class, then scrapping them for storage augmentation. Then the ship in the lower left rolls in, a cool looking little number. In the time it took me to transfer from my previous ship, scrap the older one and come back, there were 2 more S-class ships. I bought those, and before I could trade one in, another S landed. I waited maybe 20 seconds more, and there was another. In the space of 5 minutes, I bought all of the shops on the right, and while scrapping them and flying back and forth to the space station, I came across 3 more. $35 million got me 16 storage sugmentation units and about 20 S-Class modules in about 45 minutes. submitted by /u/MikeyW1969 |

Flying in space is a huge part of the game and yet the core gameplay hasn’t changed. No ship interiors, no hovering, no being able to leave your ship and ultimately, no consequences.
There’s asteroids practically everywhere so fuel is never an issue, but imagine if you ran out of fuel and had to use your radio to signal for help , either you get saved by nice people (or maybe even a player but that wouldn’t happen much obviously) or pirates come over and start making demands. It would just give it more consequence.
And imagine if asteroid mining was a lot more delicate, you could leave you ship and fly over and mine that way to maybe find rare resources or get more fuel? It would just be nice to have more variety/options when it comes to space

I can’t believe how much they worked on this, what a true gem. I’ve been playing non stop for days now. I’m sitting at work thinking, “finish work, hit the gym and hop on NMS.” XD
Build settlements?? I haven’t even started reading into this. You can cook?? I’m overwhelmed and astonished by how much they added… I bet I’ve barely scratched the surface so far.
I discovered a water planet with these giant worms and was so amazed I didn’t realize I was yelling, “holy shit!!! WHAT THE FUUUUCK.” My wife thought something was wrong or bad had happened… haha
Any other players who just recently returned to NMS after years? I’d love to team up and explore together.
