Shutting down sentinel pillars on corrupted planets makes farming echo locators a breeze in any system.
So earlier tonight, I had been farming salvaged data on a corrupted paradise planet, just in case I happened upon a sentinel ship or harmonic camp randomly in the process. It’s a new save. Anyway, right around my 600th or so data scrape, I happened upon a sentinel pillar! I didn’t think they could spawn on corrupted worlds, but sure enough, it was there with none of the usual guardian sentinels. So of course I deactivate the sentinels on the planet, and I unlocked all of the milestones for sentinel kills all at once. Immediately I suspected that every dissonance resonator on the planet became unguarded all at once, so I went to check it out and confirmed that to be the case. Farmed inverted mirrors and echo locators until my game crashed when the new update was released.
TLDR: sentinel pillars spawn on corrupted planets, can be deactivated, and it will kill every sentinel on the planet and it will last at least an hour.
