Hello all, my fellow travellers. I was shocked when i found out the stock maneuverability of this ship is 1767. Compare to my sentinel ship (main) which is fully upgraded , it only manage to get around 1391. Even the damage potential difference is not that much, holy wacamoli. I dont know if i want to switch my main ship, because it’s such a hassle to transfer all the upgrades one-by-one to the Starborn. ARE YOU THE BEAST OF THEM ALL ? submitted by /u/iamlen07 |

and I swear that this planet doesn’t want me to leave … First, it’s gorgeous, this is literally my first ever NMS screenshot, 5 minutes in: Then, it’s a billion units planet. it’s got thousands of caves and each one is full of Albumen Peas (that sell for 5k each), this was my inventory as was preparing to leave for the first time: But then it kept giving me even more valuable resources like chlorine and glowing crystals and, each time I’m about to leave, I find something even more valuable/interesting. In the first few hours I found:
But that’s not all, as I was finally about to leave for good, I got a quest to raid 5 resource depots …. as I was on my way to my latest sentinel pillar! So I deactivated the sentinels and got into a frenzy of roaming the world frantically to raid everything that I could find that would otherwise have been protected by sentinels … so in the span of an hour I found:
I was still in the middle of raiding without sentinels when I ended my last session but now my inventory and 25 slots shuttle are filled with rare minerals (that sells for anything from 25k to 100k a pop) and I went from a meager 65k unit to more than 10 millions … which I’ll probably have to spend on a hauler to get all that loot out there…. that’s if I ever end up leaving the planet. Still, I’m wondering, are all planets that rich or did I get a super lucky start? submitted by /u/undernier |

I’m stuck on a very small island without rocks or dihydrogen around me. I cannot build a portable refiner, can’t make starship launch fuel (that’s why I’m stuck), and there isn’t a nearby island within miles. There are zero rocks underwater, radiation is a big problem, no matter what I do, I cannot find anything for me to get off. And despite uranium supposedly being a huge resource here, there is none in the vicinity.

It’s supposed to be an S-class right? 😅 I still haven’t clicked the claim button because I’m still sort of in shock. I went through the dog fight event, checked out the freighter and was a B-class, but I had to shut off the game. I didn’t realize it didn’t save. When I reverted the save and did it again, the RNG seemed to have blessed me with a S Capital ship after the single accidental save scum. I haven’t been playing that long and don’t fully understand what I’m looking at as far as quality. How good is she as freighters go? submitted by /u/Aquafoot |
