Fun names for things?
Just curious if anyone has any fun & amusing names for things in NMS? I do it for my own amusement, but it also makes things easier to find when looking at lists of stuff.
- Home Base – All About That Base
- Base used for Oxygen Farming – Oh Too
- Base used to get to a portal easily – The Cake is a Lie (reference to the game portal)
- First ship you get by default – U.S.S. Discovery (Star Trek reference)
- Fighter ship I found – U.S.S. Cerritos (Star Trek reference)
- My settlement – The Settle Mint
- Main multi-tool – This is my boom stick
- Other multi-tool I just found I plan on selling – Sell me
- Random system with a planet with Indium – Indy! Indy! (Indiana Jones…makes it easy to find when I need more Indium, which is less of an issue now that I'm 130+ hours deep…)
- Bird Animal Companion – Word (As in, "Bird is the word")
Still trying to think of a good name for my sentinel ship and my living ship…
