E8r23: Euclid, just a pretty ship, in case you're in the market.

So, I have ~150hours into this game and I’ve just recently found this reddit. My question is: Am I even playing the damn same freaking game?! I mean… 150 hours and I’ve never seen ANYTHING of ANY of these things shown by any post. My bases are just squares with basic technology, the best looking ship I ever found was something that looked somewhat like a pod racer from star wars, and the last, newest, thing I’ve found was an outlaw system. also: So yeah, I basically thought NMS is that extremely overhyped space games people love even though it basically has a vast majority of nothingness with randomized creatures that are nothing like the trailers ever showed. Apperently I’ve just never set foot in anything in the game… What the heck am I doing wrong? Why is my game expeience so damn bad compared to anyone in here? submitted by /u/the_real_ntd |

I think i am just about done with this game, it was an absolutely glorious game, from start to finish. It made me feel like playing minecraft for the first time ever. From waking up on a planet with a broken ship, to walking around with 500+mil units full s-class ship, tool and freighter. The music, exploration, combat, story, mechanics, graphics and much more are just 10/10. Every moment from finally understanding a language to learning that artemis is dead or the universe is a simulation, all of these moments made me sit back and wonder, how i couldve avoided this masterpiece.
For now.. i think i’ll stop playing till the next update. I think just waiting for the quicksilver quests to appear or looking for upgrade modules, feels too much like a chore.
This game is definetly up with my all time favorite games!

I’ve played the game off and on for years now. And I’m still finding that I’m learning new things. I’m sure there are features I’m missing. Here are some new things I’ve learned. How about you?
