NMS appears to have plenty to do now in the gameplay–enough that I’m locked into the grind pretty good. The 4 or 5 options that you have per category in the appearance changer just don’t feel like enough–and they feel like a relic of an earlier version of the game. Here’s some options that I would love to see–in order of least effort to most effort:

– Adding in Specialist Polo’s weird sweater armor and Nada’s Shoulder pieces as bonus armor.

– Some wasteland survival themed gear: A ruined jumpsuit and tactical vest for the body pieces, and a gas mask or rebreather mask with tubes attached to the backpack for a new helmet.

– Some more Stormtrooper/space marine style armor that looks intended for the Anomaly rather than the Vy’Keen.

– Some body sliders so that players can fine tune body shape and size rather than selecting from a list of prebuilts.

– Specifically sliders for the head and backpack–I love some of the helmet designs, but it would be nice to have a smaller head.

Those are the ideas that come to me immediately–I think there’s more than could be done but for the most part it would just be nice to have more options.
