I had loaded into my freighter, checked my frigates, moved and sold some stuff, then sent my frigates out again. I walked up to my observation deck and proceeded to zonk out. What was I doing?

And that’s when I realized, I had done everything I had wanted to do when I came back to NMS. I got back on track of stuff, unlocked nearly everything, grabbed a nice new main ship, grabbed a sweet multitool, finished my home base, and visited all those cool bases and things I had favorited on reddit.

So I’m going to take a break. Get back to other games for a bit. Hell, I was getting deep into Horizon Forbidden West just before this current fixation took hold.

Also time away will be good. Time to build up that list again.

So i am 13.7 hours into the game, and recently found out about terrain regeneration. I was devastated, i already found a planet that i feel like settling in, but this terrain regeneration gonna eat my base if i don’t come back in a day or two. I don’t want to devote so much of my time building a base if it’s gonna be ruined by some terrain regeneration.

So, my plan right now is probably buy the damn expensive freighter and build a base inside , where nothing can get to me. But it will take me forever just to farm these damn units. Please give me suggestion guys, i really love base building, but i dont want to get it ruined

Just as the title says.

A landable (it’s a word I’m sure) Orbital shipyard that spawns in the orbit (duh) of random planets.

Regular ships can and will land here as they do at trade stations but the lure is being able to craft your own freighter.

This includes all current freighter types and classes.

The initial build would probably be time gated somehow like expanding your settlement and the class is upgradeable by LOTS of nantes.
