So I used my last echo locator to find a harmonious camp. It directed me to a ship that looked pretty sweet. Then my visor pointed me to the dissonance resonator.

Last time It led me to an echo locator so I decided to mark the resonator and come back after I searched around for another locator.

Found another resonator (no locator) and decided to call off the hunt and went back to the 1st resonator. Grabbed the resonator and looked for the inverted mirror but my visor was ‘blank’ and the location of the ship was lost. A restore just put me at the 2nd resonator I found & still no ship marker on the HUD

Sure learning a lot of hard lessons lately. I did get a nice multi-tool from the camp tho as a consolation prize

So I stumbled across a nice multi-tool and decided to buy it. I didn’t realize I had 6 already so when I bought the new multi-tool it deleted and replaced my main, tricked out multi tool (no, I didn’t hit exchange). Imagine my surprise when I could not switch to my go-to multi. It had some nice upgrades too that I’m not able to find again right off the bat.

TLDR: Don’t be a dumba$$ like me. When buying multi-tools switch to your most disposable multi-tool first just to be safe

In general, I’m pretty content with the rarity of things in this game – it all feels like, if you do properly search and play the system, you can get what it is you want, regardless of type, Class, whatever.

The exception, in my eyes, is different Multi-Tool types.

I have scoured all A-Class Multi-Tools of thirty-four systems at this point. That is, I have scoured the A-Class Multi-Tool… of EVERY planet… in THIRTY-FOUR systems… and have found not a single Experimental, not a single Alien, not a single Royal, not a single Staff, not a single Atlantid…

… in fact, after fine-combing thirty-four systems’ A-Class Multi-Tools, I have found three Sentinel Multi-Tools and otherwise only Rifles and Pistols.

While I generally seriously appreciate the rarity of the game’s greatest and most desirable things… too much is too much. This really is ridiculous.
